Doe Deere is a woman that has long idolized the United States of America. Having been raised in Russia, Deere has always been infatuated with American culture and the English language. For many years, Deere dreamed of moving to America, hoping to live her own version of the American dream. Then, one day, her dreams were realized.
At the young age of 17, Deere traveled to America with her mother and family. Unfortunately for Deere and her family, finding their footing in America was harder than they had anticipated. After months of cleaning homes and walking dogs, Deere’s family found themselves with only $7.56 to their name. With such low funds, the family became homeless, having to take advantage of food shelves, and hoping for better times.
These days, Doe Deere is living her best life. Having adopted the Doe Deere moniker in the early 2000’s, Deere turned her family’s shortcomings in to her own success story. Having founded Lime Crime in 2008, Deere became the woman she always dreamed of, leading a successful life in the United States of America.
Located in Los Angeles, Lime Crime is a vegan and cruelty-free makeup brand that’s been certified by both PETA, and The Leaping Bunny Program. Of course, the company’s commitment to the well-being of animals isn’t the only thing Lime Crime has going for it. With an array of products to choose from, customers are able to express themselves through vibrant face palettes, eye catching lip tones, and a wide selection of other colorful products.
Now, with a successful company to her name, Doe Deere is living her best life. She is no longer in pursuit of the so sought after American dream, and instead finds herself living those very dreams that she experienced as a young child in Russia. Deere is not only considered a pioneer of her industry, but also a visionary.
